RISE Forum: Resource Recovery Through FOG
This live webcast will take place on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, from 1:00 - 2:30 PM Eastern. The webcast recording will be available within 24 hours after the webcast ends.
Join us to learn about the Fork-to-Fuel Initiative, which is focused on standardizing the collection of high-energy organic wet “waste” as a sustainable resource of value. You will hear about the need for such an initiative, first-hand experience from the utilities that are carrying out this project and the technology provider in charge of designing it. There will be an opportunity for questions during the Q&A portion of the webinar.
Presenters:
- Erika Bailey, City of Raleigh (RISE Chair)
- Xavier Fonoll Almansa, University of Texas (RISE Co-Chair)
- Karri Ving, Brown & Caldwell (SFPUC Case Study)
- Eric Knoshaug, NREL (the need for organic feedstocks to become resources instead of waste)
- Karina Afework, LASAN (utility efforts to develop a collaborative initiative to transform the management of grease)
- Judith Marquez, Grease Guardian (tech provider designing the Fork-to-Fuel Initiative)
